Guest Speaking at D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University

In less than two months, I’ll be guest speaking in an undergraduate credit analysis business class. What could we possibly explore together? Lots! We will dive into my favorite methodology, Visual Thinking Strategies, and specifically discuss pattern recognition, visual diagnostics and assessment, and applying the close looking of art to the to close looking necessary for credit analysis in banking. In this course, students learn to evaluate clients and potential borrowers who need loans and other structured debt products, while practicing teamwork and oral communication. During my class, I’ll help them apply an approach totally outside of their industry in an impactful way.

I’m looking forward to meeting the students - in person! - and facilitating a thoughtful experience while also learning some things myself! Special thanks for Professor Rick Swasey for the invitation.
